Shankar

Shankar Gangisetty is currently a project scientist at IHub-Data, CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad researching in the space of mobility for technology development on road and driver safety in Indian driving conditions. Earlier was a Professor at KLE Technological University, Hubballi. His research interests include Mobility/Autonomous Driving, Multi-modal Learning, 2D/3D Vision, Machine/Deep Learning. He has served as a reviewer for several journals (e.g., IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIP, Neuralcomputing, Artificial Intelligence Review, IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, ACM JOCCH, Computers \& Graphics) and various conferences. He is a Co-PI for various DST sponsored funded projects, recent one being driving simulator for safe driving in Indian conditions.

Abdul Wasi is currently a research fellow at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad, advised by Prof. C V Jawahar. His current research is in the area of mobility/ autonomous driving and video understanding. He has previously published works on Computational Photography and Image Processing at CVIP 2022, CVIP 2023, and IEEE Journal of selected topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing.

Shyam Nandan Rai is an ELLIS Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering at Politecnico di Torino supported by the Italian National PhD Program in Artificial Intelligence. He is an active member of the Visual Learning and Multimodal Applications Laboratory (VANDAL), where he is under the guidance of Prof. Barbara Caputo and Prof. Carlo Masone. Shyam completed his master's degree in Computer Science at IIIT Hyderabad in 2020 under the mentorship of Prof. C. V. Jawahar. He has published papers in computer vision and robotic conferences such as ICCV, ECCVw, NurIPSw, WACV, IROS, and BMVC and reviewed papers in the same venues.

C.V. Jawahar is a Professor at IIIT Hyderabad, India. He has been with IIIT Hyderabad since 2000. At IIIT Hyderabad, Jawahar leads a group focusing on computer vision, machine learning, document analysis, and multimedia systems. In recent years, he has looked into various problems that overlap with vision, language, and text. He is also interested in applications in road safety, assistive technologies, healthcare, education, cultural heritage, and entertainment. He has served as a chair for previous editions of ICCV, CVPR, ACCV, WACV, IJCAI, AAAI, ICDAR, ICFHR, and ICVGIP. Presently, he is an area editor of CVIU and an associate editor of IEEE PAMI and IJDAR. He has more than 150 publications in top conferences of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Document Image Analysis. He is a PI for various DST sponsored funded projects and industry collaboration projects in computer vision and AI. He has been organizing various Indian Driving Dataset/Mobility and Document Analysis competitions both at National and International conference venues.
