R&D Showcase (Mar'25)

The annual R&D event at IIIT-Hyderabad provided a platform for idea exchange and project collaboration, attracting over 30 external participants. The Driving Simulator at the R&D Showcase '25 saw enthusiastic engagement, with visitors exploring various scenarios and engaging in hands-on trials. In total, more than 30 visitors experienced the simulator, with 10 participating in detailed trials. Attendees raised insightful questions about system configuration, software versions, data logging, storage, and scenario design. Specific queries focused on how log data is recorded and stored, time synchronization between Aria and GoPro, and the practical applications of the collected data. To address these inquiries, we processed data on the spot, showcasing its relevance and extracting key insights from each user's session. Visitors appreciated the seamless integration of hardware and software, highlighting the simulator’s potential in advancing driving research and real-world applications.
