About Us

Mobility team at IHub-Data aims to solve problems on Indian roads & driving conditions using data-driven technologies.

A brainstorming session on four-wheeler mobility technology in the year 2017 ( https://cvit.iiit.ac.in/bsan2017/ )resulted in the release of IDD (India Driving Dataset) ( https://idd.insaan.iiit.ac.in/ ) with the achievement of over 200 citations & around 8000 downloads.

Recently we had a brainstorming session on the two-wheeler program in the year 2023 ( https://mobility.iiit.ac.in/2WMP/ ) with project proposals on various aspects of two-wheeler mobility.

IHub-Data is a Section-8 Company established to achieve the goals set by DST (Department of Science & Technology) for NM-ICPS (National Mission for Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems) program. IHub-Data, the TIH (Technology Innovation Hub) at IIIT Hyderabad is dedicated to enhancing national research and deploying solutions in Data Banks, Data Services and Data Analytics.
